Text Box: MP DMAT: Dental/Medical Admission Test The Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges (APDMC) of Madhya Pradesh has announced the exam dates for the Dental/Medical Admission Test (DMAT) 2012 which will be conducted in the month of July 2012. The DMAT 2012 will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012. The DMAT 2012 is conducted for taking admission to the Medical, Dental, BPT, BOT, B.Sc. Nursing and other Allied Paramedical courses in the participating institutes for the commencing session 2012-13. Eligibility Criteria for MP DMAT : For MBBS/BDS Programs: The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have secured at least minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined together and must have passed in English also. For BPT, BOT, B.Sc. Nursing, and other Allied Paramedical Programs: The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board Secondary Education M.P or C.B.S.E having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject individually. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses candidate must have passed in English also. For details on the eligibility criteria, please visit their official website. Application Procedure for MP DMAT The application form along with the information brochure can be obtained from any of the participating colleges or from the APDMC office at the cost of Rs. 750/- payable by cash or through demand draft, drawn in favor of ‘APDMC’ payable at Bhopal. Application forms are also available from DMAT office and participating colleges by post for an additional amount of Rs. 100/- as postal charges. The application form can also be downloaded from their official website -www.apdmcmp.com/ The completed downloaded application forms should be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favor of ‘APDMC’ payable at Bhopal. Candidates have to submit demand draft of Rs. 750/- as examination fee with application form. The completed application forms should be submitted to ‘Office of the Association of Private Dental & Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh, DMAT Office, E-2/51, Arera Colony, Bhopal – 462016 (M.P.)’ by July 14, 2012 at the latest. Paper Pattern for MP DMAT 2012: There will be one common paper with 200 multiple choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology for duration of three hours and maximum marks of 200.
